A challenging programme by itself, the Trust envisages meeting the profound problems encountered by HIV positive persons. Perhaps one of the pioneering attempts in the world to overcome the social stigma attached to the problem, the Trust took the bold and humanitarian step in arranging marriages among HIV positive individuals and giving them, through adoption, children suffering from the same ailment who were abandoned by their families. These couples and children are given excellent accommodation and are fully supported by the Trust. More than 500 patients affected by AIDS/HIV, located in and around Palakkad and Pollachi area are registered with the Trust. They are given medical aid, food grains, and clothes besides regular financial help.
